More on that Jones LWB Spaceframe

Apparently Jones Spaceframes have been around for 20 years!

I recently posted a longterm review of the (deep breath) Jones Titanium Plus Space LWB Spaceframe with Truss Fork to the mothership, which you can find here.

Although it’s probably evident by now how much I enjoy riding it, I have also pointed out any foibles that may or may not be relevant to you… because this bike is certainly an individual! And, there’s a reminder that you don’t have to go full bling. This is a platform that works really well in titanium or steel, or a mashup of the two. Either way, it definitely strikes its own path, which gives a kind timeless feel to it, and it should last you many happy years of together time.

I’m fortunate to report that this has been my daily ride for the last several months; trail riding, dirt roading, bikepacking, and dogpacking, no other bike necessary, especially once you pop a trailer on the back. I don’t road ride much and I don’t shuttle up to the enduro trails much either. All the rest is prime LWB territory.

Handily, it’s lovely to photograph and one of those bikes that perhaps even enhances the environment through which you’re cycling 😆😜. With thanks to @notjustforfungis and @logans.ride for additional photos!

It’s longer than me!
Framebag fits a big papaya.
Seen here on an adobe wall, bedecked with This is Farewell bags and Campandgoslow rattler tape.
Dropper options are a bit limited… but 120mm is better than nothing!
Technically, form follows function, though you might think it the oppposite.
Logan looking good on the LWB!
A bike to incite curiosity and a desire to roam.
Couple of my favourite walls in town.
One bike to rule them all! (including to take dogpacking)
Carbonara Trail, in Ixtepeji. Loamy paradise with added bromeliads.
